The unique feature of this safe is that it has a key over-ride. The key will over-ride the electronic lock. A manager may choose to always use the key while the employees would have a code for the electronic key pad lock.

The electronic lock runs on batteries. The batteries can be changed from the outside of the safe and there is a warning light if the batteries are getting low. The lock pulls very little charge so the batteries last.

This product has an ETL 1/2 hour fire endurance rating.
